Trix BR23

Hello and a happy new year to all members

I read in my Model magazine about the Trix BR23.

There are two locos. 22230 and 22231. I want to buy the loco without polished bands on the boiler.

I want to fit a sound decoder as only the 22230 loco has the sound fitted in the Trix factory

Do Trix supply a sound decoder for this model?

Can anyone help me please?

I think that the ESU 21pin decoder will not work with the sinus motor fitted to this locomotive.

Am I correct?

Hope that someone can help me with this matter.

best regards - John :)

Hello an a welcome John,

I think there isn't build in a sinussoftdrive.
It's Trix and there's biuld in a "Glockenankermotor"
You can use a DCCdecoder from ESU like this (with 21-Pin-Connector)
Loksound 3.5 with Sound 52408

If you'll like to see the modell in 360° view (needs JAVA)
